So what do you do when your toddler no longer wants to sleep in a sleeping bag but is still too small to move into a single bed ? My other predicament was that this happenend around September and I needed something for in between seasons. So a regular baby blanket wasn’t going to do because it would just about cover his body but was too small if he decided to move in his sleep ! So the power of home-made and custom design took over. I decided to make a square metre blanket. This one is made of a combination of a Japanese import fabric of chubby owls and a reliable stars and stripes design. So, the other day, it was with great pride and joy when my son picked up the blanket and pointed to the stairs to go for his afternoon nap !
